Lou Mielke's Car Care

My wife and I have been going to Lou for 10 years based on a recommendation of a friend. Lou has always been fair and honest with our cars and maintenance. Lou's done all of our oil, tire, battery and break changes. If you catch Lou at the right time, respecting his time and workload, he's also given us a wealth of knowledge and advice when we've been shopping for new cars and even tires for our travel trailer. I trust Lou like a father... honestly. Also, I don't want to forget David (Lou's son). He's been great with help and advice as well.

Lou was a word-of-mouth referral from a neighbor and he hasn't disappointed. Very knowledgable, great work, fair price. Hopefully we can keep my truck rolling for another 175K miles.

I brought a car in to Lou Mielke's for a Maryland state inspection. They completed it on time and seemed like a reputable family-owned garage. I will definitely try them for future repairs. Update: Since my first review, I've brought my cars here several times and I've always gotten excellent service at a decent price.

Lou knows cars and their problems. Don’t be fooled by a lackluster building tucked away in Gamber off 32, this shop offers world class knowledge and excellent service. I was quoted a job, it was fixed in a single day, and even turned out to be cheaper than what I was originally quoted. He reached out to let me know of additional issues that were definitely real and not contrived for a bigger bill. Can’t recommend enough. He’s got to be doing something right since he’s been in business for 40 years.

Most reliable mechanic my family has ever had. Two generations of my family take our cars to Lou no matter what because we know our cars will be taken care of for an affordable price.
