Loughead's Automotive & Towing (AAA)

We had just purchased a 1977 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II in Santa Rosa, CA, and were driving to our home in Lake Oswego, OR, when we developed engine trouble. It was shortly before noon. We had only gotten as far as Roseburg, OR. We called the number for our roadside assistance provider, AAA. They sent us a tow truck from Loughead’s Automotive and Towing. Our driver, YoSHi, explained that we were 168 miles from home and that AAA would only cover the first 100 miles. He then went over our obligation for the remaining 68 miles. We agreed to the terms and our journey home began. YoSHI recognized that it was close to lunchtime and offered to drive us to a roadside market where we could get a sandwich for our long drive home. He then spent the following 168 miles in pleasant, engaging conversat

Another tow company driver chickened out when he saw our steep driveway. Then up comes intrepid Yoshi from Loughead’s, and he really knows his stuff! Despite the steepness of our driveway, there are also sharp turns in a limited space to get to our disabled car, but he did it! We were so impressed because, besides being so competent, he’s also a really nice human being!

I am beyond grateful for the incredibly fast and accurate roadside assistance I just experienced from DJ, with Loughheads Towing Company, which is the best I’ve ever encountered! DJ was able to load my car with a shutdown engine so perfectly safe, and gave additional advice with finding a good repair shop, and was even able to drop me off at a hotel after unloading the car! Thank goodness for Loughheads Towing’s kind help!! I highly recommend them!

We hit a deer and need a tow badly. Yoshi showed up to help but unfortunately wasn’t able to fit our sprinter on his flatbed, BUT he called in some help and stayed with us to make sure we were safe until help arrived. Super nice guy who knows what he’s doing. Thanks so much!

DJ Wheeler towed my car late at night after I was in a pretty scary wreck. He arrived quickly, got the car on the towbed, and drove me home safely with no further damage to my vehicle. Beyond that, DJ was professional, friendly, and extremely empathetic to my situation. He made a challenging and emotional event feel less awful with his care and personality. I can't say enough to express how thankful I am. I highly suggest this company and DJ.
