Lube Pitstop

This is the best place in ATX, hands down. They are welcoming, honest, and fast as heck. I dread taking my car in (and always feel slightly embarrassed) because it has so many issues; I joke that it’s the car that no shop wants to see coming. It is a TOTAL judgement free zone, they really just want to help & seem to genuinely enjoy doing it. Love this place and won’t go anywhere else.

I have been going to Lube Pitstop since I moved to Austin in 2008. They have been delightful and helpful every time. Whether I bring my kids or dog, they are fast, efficient, engaging, accommodating and kind. Same guys for years and never pester or up charge. Though more on the expensive side, 100% worth the price for the quality they deliver.

This place is a scam. I went in for an oil change, tire check, and full inspection. They did all of that, said all was okay, and sent me on my way. One week later, another light went off in my car. I took the car into another shop to learn that my car required nearly 2000 dollars worth of repairs that all could have been found during the intial inspection. Do not go here.

This is my favorite place in Austin to come for my oil changes. They’re super friendly, professional, and always welcoming. Donny is the BEST — he always makes sure my car is taken care of and gets me exactly what my car needs every time
