Lucky Old Car

I don't believe a word Evan McMullen says! I won at auction, what was advertized as a running driving 2007 Yukon XL w/130K on Proxibid from the Lucky Old Car Auction. Flew up from Arizona to Seattle/Tacoma to drive it home. Engine is locked up solid. "BREACH of CONTRACT" No mention of the bad engine in the Auction. Won't even turn with new battery and starter!!! Lots of other damage not mentioned in their add and photos don't show the issues. Title is a also junk. It's scam and a "breach of contract"! I suggest you don't buy anything from Lucky Old Car Auction or Evan McMullen!

RUDE!!! Very unprofessional. Do not go to them. They are consignment guys they take your cars, sit on them until you get desperate. And do what they say. They rush you to sign paperwork. Evan the owner.! Is very rude as well. They act nice up until you sign your cars over then. He's rude and doesn't respond to you. Makes up lies so he doesn't have to give a receipt. Says that it is going to be brought with the guys when they pick up your cars. Then when they get there you ask them. And they say they have no idea what you are talking about. You call the office AGAIN! Evan answers. And he says it is going to be emailed. No email. So you pester and pester and pester at them until they make it seem like you are the problem. First I will summarize the issues I encountered, then conclude with a summary. You'll notice their website only lists the good things about their car and omit any and all issues the car has. As far as I can tell this is intentional. They refuse to disclose anything they know about any defects. When I called the company to get additional details about the condition of the car I was interested in, their representative described it as "from the private collection of the owner of an automotive dealership. It is the pride of their museum and the last car they are letting go." After the auction, I managed to talk with the seller. He worked in finance at a dealership. The car was his father's. Very high online buyers premium for the little service they do offer. Also suspect they bid up all the auctions themselves to get the highest price. The same couple of users are always bidding on the listings through proxibid. Suspicious. Many other more reputable and more reasonable auction houses out there to use instead of these guys.

Great place to bid on worthless classic cars with blown-up engines that have been taken "great care of" and 'well loved". They are also allergic to returning phone calls and emails. Avoid at all costs.
