Ludden's Mobile Mechanic

My wife and I were travelling from Florida to Indiana in our 2005 Chevy Avalanche with 250,000 on the odometer. We had a wheel hub bearing failure at Tifton, GA late on a Saturday evening and we checked into a motel thinking we were likely stranded for at least until Monday. I called Ludden's Mobile Mechanic Service at 8:00 AM Sunday morning and told Arthur what I thought the problem was. It was a cold, rainy morning. Arthur said he would check on availability of the correct hub and get back to me shortly. About 30 minutes later, Arthur called back. He was in the motel parking lot with the correct part. Works can’t express how God-sent Mr. Arthur was! My fiancé and I had a wheel bearing fail 2.5hrs away from home and were quoted $1200 through my insurance just to have the vehicle towed. Being a Sunday afternoon on Christmas weekend, local mechanics wouldn’t answer but Mr. Arthur answered on the first ring!! He explained he was located a couple towns over about an hour away but that he’d go grab the part and be there right away. When I tell you Mr. Arthur won’t stop until the jobs done, I mean you won’t be shaking hands with that man saying thanks until you’re back moving on the road, good to go! And to top it all off, once the job was done he insisted on praying over us for safe travels which just goes to show he was a true blessing. Thanks again, Mr. Arthur! It was a pleasure to meet you

Let me tell you. If you look at the bad reviews your missing out on outstanding service. 1600 miles from home and this gentleman went out of his way to help us. Now days you can't hardly find people like that. Some of the reviews complain he dosent service tires or abs systems. He is not a tire or abs system type mechanic. The guy changed my wheel hub assembly in a matter of 2 hrs. Oh and didnt charge my wife and I an arm or leg to do it. If you dont want honesty or some one who dosent care if your stranded go to someone else. He knew our story about being stranded and still he was honest and very nice. We could not have called a better person for help. I am sure if he can't do it he probably knows someone who can.

Arthur is an outstanding mechanic wit promote and reliable onsite service. I called him on a Sunday because I could not finish installing my serpentine belt on my SUV. He arrived in Moultrie within the hour and in now time the belt was professionally installed and truck running perfectly. He is very personable and a great mechanic. Very reasonably priced for such short notice and the distance.

Arthur is a great guy and great mechanic! He helped my Dad and I when we were in a bind and provided exceptional and fast service over Thanksgiving weekend. So so grateful for his help!
