I went to Jay to build a 500 HP 413 c.i. FE ford that rapped quick with great throttle response and I got exactly that and more. He listened carefully and worked with vendors to make my vision reality and ended up with 530 HP with more tuning to go. The car idles smoothly with power brakes and steering yet when it time to go, it runs like a scalded ape. I would reccomend M&R to anybody.

Jay is the most detail oriented and thorough engine builder I have had the pleasure of working with in more than 25 years building muscle cars!!!! Has unbelievable subject matter knowledge and understanding of engines of all types (manufacturers) from stock to highly modified. The owner of the shop takes time to listen to your engine build and expectations. Will make suggestions from his experience but isn't pushy. Glad to have found an honest, straight forward engine machinist.

I had a Kohler motor overhauled. Jay and his help were very kind and courteous. He gave me an estimate, tore into the motor, saw the problem and called me with the information. I have yet to run motor but I have nothing but confidence in the results. Would recommend .
