MACON DISCOUNT TIRE

While my initial experience with the staff was very good, the product I was sold nearly killed me. I was assured that the used tire that I was getting was good quality and in good condition. It was not. It lasted a couple weeks driving around town, and then as soon as I take it for its first ride on the interstate, it started to violently shake the car before blowing out the sidewall entirely a few minutes later. (see attached photos) If I hadn't gotten to a side road in time, the wheel would have blown out in the middle of the freeway! If Macon Discount Tire's manager is reading this, please contact me. This is unacceptable.

Ive been here a few times. Its always been a great experience. I do most of my own work so I just bring wheels and tires and have them mount and balace for me. It will take longer if you show up and need the tires on the car changed as they will have to get it inside, lift it up and do the tires. The bad reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt. I can confirm the few times I have been there people call up and are shocked at tire prices.. Its 2025, everything is expensive, get over it! You had to have a big SUV, should have thought about those expensive tires when you were signing that dotted line at the dealership. Everyone is looking for a deal and will trade their safety for affordability and settle for a used tire. Used tires mean they were needing to be replaced for some reason

Mo is the most honest automotive specialist in town. He is indeed a “service master!” Women are typically taken advantage of in this way but I have never felt like I was receiving quality for my $$ until I found Mo. Mo always, always does a great job with the utmost honest and integrity. He only does what’s necessary and will not do anything nefarious to my vehicle as other auto repair companies. He fixes it right the first time!!! Best tires in town. He can fix anything!!!

Mo and I had visted on tire needs. Got me a good set of 4 Bridgestone tires with credit on two tires I bought from him last year! I rolled up to get them, got right in and was fixed up in under 30 min!

While traveling on I40 in Memphis pulling a 35ft fifth wheel we had a flat. After finding our spare was low of air we started searching for nearby business for air and to fix our flat. Then we had the sensor tell us another tire is quickly going flat. After two Firestone stores told us they couldn't help us because they had regular, scheduled customers we found Macon. Mo quickly agreed to help us, had room for our rig on his lot, and worked us in between his scheduled customers. They were quick, courteous, and oh so helpful. A simple fix of valve stems. We just had to get to a business that would take time to listen and see what they could do to help us! I highly recommend this business!
