I was trying to decide between a more-than-fair-priced Leaf that Dave was selling and another Leaf that was offered by a private seller at a price that seemed too good to be true. I was, however, worried about the Leaf from the private seller, not only because it was well under market value but because it had some service lights on. Dave agreed not only to show me the Leaf he was selling, but to inspect the other Leaf. He ran the codes on the Leaf sold by the private seller, found that the issues seemed minor, gave me sound advice on how to affordably address these issues, and told me he also thought the Leaf from the private seller was a steal. At no time did he pressure me to buy his Leaf instead; quite the opposite: he gave thorough, thoughtful, and impartial advice. He cared more about
