We were in town and got a nail in our tire on Saturday. I had to hope someplace was open on Sunday. They were there and did an awesome job repairing our tire and got us back on the road in no time. 1000% recommend them, it felt like I was back in a small town repair shop but in the city.

I had an excellent experience with Tino and Mike. What was a very stressful experience of smelling burning and seeing smoke coming from my car on a Sunday…turned into the best experience. Mike was so helpful on the phone and they were able to get my car in right away. Mike was great at communicating, fun to talk to while Tino immediately got under the hood to see what happened. Once a they saw a burnt up line…they were super transparent, showing me the issue, giving me parts estimates and a timeline to get it fixed. I also really appreciated the price estimate they provided as well! They were true to estimates and I had a fixed car quickly. It was all around a great experience doing business with the team and I’m very happy to now have a shop I trust!

It was a Sunday, and my wife’s car was leaking washer fluid and the heater wasn’t warming. She needed to drive in bad weather the next day, so I needed help fast. I called Mike at Main & Crawford, and he said he could look at it that day. About an hour after dropping it off, he called and said it was ready. When I asked the cost, he said “$18 — just needed coolant added and the washer jets cleaned.” I was incredulous! My wife’s car drove the car that day, and got a low washer fluid light again. I called Mike, and he looked at it immediately. After the mechanic painstakingly traced the line, he found a tiny gash in the hose and repaired it. How much for that? “No charge. We should have caught it the first time.” I don’t know about your experience with auto shops, but this beats

Tino always comes through! Heat in car not working. He diagnosed, ordered the parts snd fixed in on a Sunday morning. All at a reasonable cost. A couple months ago my car was sideswiped. Body shops gave me estimates of 1400 and 800. Tino knew there was no major damage or repair, cleaned the scuff marks and it was looking new. We love Main & Crawford in Evanston. Convenient, reasonable and HONEST.

This place is awesome! The mechanics know what they’re doing and give you personal care. The prices are reasonable. Totally recommend.
