I drive a 2012 Ford F150 that I bought used a couple of years ago. I have had a few issues pop up, and after having nothing but great experiences with the Kia dealership while I was driving a Kia, I thought I would give Ford a chance to earn the same admiration. About a year ago I self-diagnosed a faulty sensor that was causing the truck to throw a Low Oil Pressure indicator and shut the engine down. I told the dealership service people exactly what the issue was and what part that wanted replaced. I told them I did not need a diagnosis, just the replacement. When I got a call that my truck was ready I came in to a much higher bill than expected, and when I asked for an itemized receipt I could see that they had charged me for a lengthy diagnosis in which they noted that they could not rep

I had been traveling for several days and left in the morning to discover one of my tires looked low. I called, and they got me right in, so I could continue my trip.

When you have an extended warranty they are the only real show in Charlottesville and they know it. They have performed several warranty repairs for me and they tend to keep your vehicle longer than other dealerships. This may be due to a small parts inventory or an ineffective parts distribution system at Ford. The rub is that I have had to call every time to get an update - zero proactivity. They need to remember that when you take someone's daily driver it's very disruptive and there are logistics to work out like don't call an hour before closing to say your car's ready or don't say Tuesday when you mean Friday. Their shuttle runs from 8-4:30 which is useless if you have a normal job, especially since most repairs are finished late in the day. They have to know that part of the purch

Took my fusion in a few months ago for a oil change and all was well and fine! Fast service and everything. Speed up to 11/16 I changed the oil myself and noticed the tech put a FL-820S filter on my car when it should have been a FL-910S with metric threads. The CORRECT oil filter I got threaded on fine from what I could see and feel but now I'm wondering if my oil filter will blow off on my hour ride to work! If they can't see the difference in part numbers then I wouldn't have faith at all in work beyond a simple oil change! Totally ridiculous...

Travis is a FIVE!!!!! The four is because Malloy doesn’t have enough people working the service counter. Once I called and no one answered. Another time after so many rings someone answered, did not say hello and put the phone on the counter—I waited five minutes listening to people talk and I hung up. But Travis, and Kelly, were FIVES!
