Mark´s Performance Automotive Shop

Bad experience at Mark’s Performance Automotive. They told me they could fix the car, which actually belongs to my mother. She is 80 years old, and I gave her this car to rely on. If a shop is willing to take advantage of an older woman, people should be very careful. They charged us $800, and when the car was brought home, it was still not fixed. Now we’re left without a working car at all. This shop was dishonest and misleading about what they could repair. I would not recommend them — they will lie to you about your car and take your money. Mark is a great guy. He fix my Cadillac converter both of them in about a day fantastic service. I thought it’d be a little bit cheaper but he got the job done and that’s what I appreciate it.

Great mechanic shop. Came here after my transmission went out in my SUV and Mark had my new transmission in within one day after it arrived to his shop.

Five hours into his drive and halfway home to Fayetteville, Arkansas from Gulfshores, Alabama on Memorial Day our son called us saying an alarm was going off in his Volkswagen Tiguan saying he had low oil pressure and needed to stop driving immediately. We were 5 hours from him and got him a hotel room in Yazoo City, Mississippi. I called the closest VW dealer to him and they declined to help because his vehicle was two years older than they cared to service. I then call 3 mechanics in Yazoo City that didn’t answer. The fourth answered and said, “I can’t help you, call Mark’s.” Mark’s answered and told me they were off for the holiday but I could send my son at 7:30am and they would see what they could do. Life savers!!! We're from Texas and our vehicle unexpectedly started shaking violently half way through our drive to Yazoo City. We were fortunate enough to be staying in the hotel right behind them for the night so it wasn't difficult to find a shop. The gentlemen replaced a broken axle within a few hours the next morning before we had to drive back to Texas. We are so fortunate for their service and skills. This is the shop for the locals for their auto needs!!!
