Matthews Car Rentals

This weekend, we were driving from Rochester NY to Charlotte NC. While in Mansfield, we hit a deer and our car was totalled. It was a scary situation in a completely unfamiliar area. Tammi and everyone at Matthews were the best thing that could have happened to us. Tammi went out of her way to think of different solutions to get us back home. Abby picked us up from Mansfield and was extremely kind! Our driver Joseph Girardi was a saint! He drove us 2 and a half hours to the airport so we could finally make it home. Everyone was so kind and I am so incredibly thankful for all of them. They made this stressful situation so much easier and we managed to get home safe all thanks to them!

The gals at the rental car department, Ashley and Victoria, and Jose, service center manager, are awesome! They were helpful and compassionate with all of my needs and did everything they could do to accommodate me! I have nothing but fabulous things to say about all of them! I am VERY critical as I am a district manager and extremely customer service oriented, and this crew went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me in my time of need. I would highly recommend Matthew's car rentals or not only a car rental but also their service center.

Dropping to 1 Star if 0 was possible that's what they deserve! It was great at first I was renting on a regular basis for a while then I got a couple bad cars that were abused. They obviously blamed me? And then banned me? It's their loss financially not mine! Once I got my 23 year old vehicle back from a transmission rebuild I went to an airport for rentals now. If I need a rental. I take good care of everything I drive not many people own 20+ year old vehicles that run and look like new! Blaming a customer for their inability leaves a bad taste in your mouth for them. One rental has transmission issues the service department said nothing was wrong? Far from the truth!!! I doubt the owner is native to the area people up here just don't treat people like this!

Outstanding experience with Victoria and her team. She went above and beyond the call of duty to help me and I am forever grateful! The team here at Matthews goes the extra mile to help customers new and old. We highly recommend them for your rental needs. They offer a wide array of vehicles at a great price.

My car broke down in Mansfield on a Saturday and Matthews provided friendly service and was extremely accommodating picking us up from where my car was towed. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, understanding how we was hoping to get back on the road quickly to get to a friend's wedding. We were able to drop off the car the next day even though it was a holiday weekend and they adjusted our fee for the weekend to reflect the time we actually had the car as opposed to our initial guess. Overall, I was thankful to find Matthews!
