Mavis Discount Tire

My car was shaking badly on a freezing morning, so I stopped by Mavis and they quickly checked it out. They explained it was due to the cold and fixed the issue right away—without charging me anything. The staff was incredibly kind, honest, and helpful. Truly great service and much appreciated. Highly recommend!

@Kanisha @Christian So I tried to put my own air in my tires and over inflated them! So off to Mavis I go and the two mentioned above came to my rescue! Needless to say, I need to start bringing my car here because Chris came through for my daughter some months ago keep up the good work guys! I was stuck out here for almost 2 weeks and people wanted to overcharge me for an alternator. I bought it online and Mavis put it in extremely cheap and fast. Amazing people that work there as well. Definitely recommend if you need work done!

I’m not gonna lie I was skeptical of bringing my car here because of the prices. But knowing they always do solid work I took it anyway. Chris was great, he was honest with my issues and since he couldn’t really fix it I didn’t get charged and they put back my wheels on. Instead of going to mom and pop shops and stressing over work. I had a very disappointing experience at Mavis Tires in Bayonne, NJ. I went in at 9:00 AM on a Saturday for a tire rotation, oil change, and cabin air filter replacement. The shop was not busy at all—only two cars in the bays—yet it took over an hour and a half to complete what should be very basic service. Things happen, so the wait alone wasn’t the main issue. The real problem came at checkout. I was initially quoted $348 for an oil change, tire rotation, and cabin air filter. Anyone who has ever worked on their own car knows that’s completely unreasonable. Oil and filter costs are minimal, a tire rotation is a simple service, and cabin air filters are inexpensive. When I challenged the price and asked if they seriously expected me to pay $348 for this, they suddenly started scramblin
