Mavis Discount Tire

Tony was great! he got our bill down from nearly 6 grand to just over 3. That covers not only the 4 tires but a handful of other work as well. very matter of fact and straight to the point, no hassle to get you to buy a bunch of other unnecessary items.

I had a really great experience at Mavis. I went in for what I thought would just be a basic oil change, but the team took the time to thoroughly check everything and found a few other issues that needed attention. They ended up replacing my wipers, struts, suspension components, shocks, and brake calipers. What I appreciated most was that they explained everything clearly and didn’t make me feel pressured. They walked me through what needed to be done, why it mattered, and what could wait. The work was completed professionally and my car drives noticeably better now. Driving back to Roc and tire light comes on and seems pretty low. I use Mavis back home for all my tires and this one was about 10 mins which was perfect! They got us in right away to check the tire not just fill it w air. Tony was great and our 90 lb house horse loved hamming up to him while we waited to have the tire looked at.

Came in to get a nail removed from my tire and they quoted me $56?? He told me that a tire balancing was required, which I’ve never heard before just to remove a nail? I’ve been to multiple Mavis’ and they only made me pay $20. So it’s making me feel like they were thinking I was stupid enough to pay $56 for a tire plugged up.

Okay so I got mixed feelings here...well I came here for tires because I was too lazy to drive further out to Fox Tire...and I got what I thought was a VERY fair price, they even threw in an alignment! They were super nice and helpful , and its irrelevant, but its the *cleanest* car shop ive ever seen ...BUT several lugnuts were stripped...and when we went back to have them fixed, they ended up telling us to go to flipping Fox Tire. And now I get an "i told you so glare" from the father of my kids because I didnt listen to him and just go straight to Fox Tire. And I dont appreciate that.
