I had such a great experience here! I came in because my car was having issues, and they found that a sensor was stuck in my tire. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming and professional. Manny was amazing. he guided me through everything step by step so I wouldn’t freak out, and he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I really appreciated his patience and how reassuring he was throughout the whole process. The entire team was extremely understanding, kind, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. If I could I would have given no stars. I went there to get 4 tires, but ended up getting more. I should have read more reviews. The same day my tire light went on. I filled my tires and it happened again. While I was there someone came in for the same issue. I called to make an appointment, which they don’t have. I was told I could make one, but if someone came in, they would be first. That’s not an appointment to me. When I did call, they told me I’m not in the system. That was weird to me. I was telling my friends, they said, I hope you didn’t go to Mavis, because it took him over a year to get all the damage fixed. That made me nervous. I decided to take it to my friend, who owes a shop. He found oil all over the wheel, they split the CV axel shaft. My friend had the same thing happen

All of the gentlemen at Mavis are phenomenal! Manny and Peter made sure my visit today was beyond satisfying! I made an appointment for 12pm during the Saturday rush and was in and out within an hour and a half! I have been to this location a hand full of times but this was the smoothest visit I’ve experienced! I am completely satisfied with the work they do and have done today to ensure the best safety of my vehicle. I also love this place because the prices are so much more reasonable than other places. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I arrived at Mavis Tire in Johnston, RI and was greeted by a friendly, welcoming staff right away. There was a small issue with my online booking, but they handled it quickly and still got my car in for a brake check. Even better, they were able to do my brakes the same day! They took great care of me throughout the whole process, and I’ve officially found my go-to place for car service. Highly recommend!

Unsafe and Dangerous Service - Do NOT Trust Mavis in Johnston I took my car to Mavis in Johnston in July 2025 to have my rear brakes replaced. Shortly after, I began hearing a rattling noise every time I drove over a bump. I returned to Mavis FOUR times over the course of August 2025, only to be met with dismissive, incorrect, and frankly dangerous responses. First Visit: I was told the noise was caused by extra lug nuts in my trunk. I removed them, but the noise persisted. Second Visit: They claimed small pebbles or rocks were causing the noise under the car, and assured me it had been cleaned out. The noise didn’t stop. Third Visit: I requested a mechanic ride with me to hear the noise. He agreed it was unusual and suggested it might be my struts. After leaving my car there, I was to
