Mavis Tires & Brakes

We had hit a large piece of twisted steel on our trip from Michigan. I was worried about any damage to the underbody and tires. I called Mavis and asked for an appointment. They got me right in and put my Chevy Equinox up onto a lift. They spent 10-15 minutes checking everything out and took it for a test drive. Luckily everything checked out. What a relief! They told me “No Charge. You car is safe for the test of your trip” I told them how much I appreciated their work. It gave me such relief and peace of mind. I gave them $40 and thanked them for their help. I strongly recommend Mavis to anybody who needs any auto work or repairs! Again, Thanks to the Mavis crew, Dan Ryan

“I came to this tire shop and told them I had 2 punctured tires. They made me take them off myself, luckily I had the tools. Then they told me the price was $100 per tire plus $25 labor – for work I basically did myself. They said it would take 30 minutes, but I ended up waiting 2 hours. When they finally gave me the tires back, I put them on and checked the pressure because they looked flat. Turns out they didn’t even inflate them properly, even though the correct PSI is clearly written on the tire. I went back and told them, and they just said ‘take the tire off again and give it to us so we can inflate it.’ Very poor service. I do not recommend this place. There’s another tire shop nearby – go there instead, because here they clearly don’t care about their customers.”

Gian, Harry, and Peter are three of the nicest guys I have ever dealt with at a tire shop. I got here and they gave me even a better price than we discussed on the phone and did not try to sell me anything else. They were super polite and kept me updated during the whole process of putting the four new tires on my truck and getting an alignment. I Was looking to go to a different Mavis shop, but I’m so happy I wound up here because I don’t think they’re all created equal. I highly recommend this location at 1330 E. Harry, Ariel and Carlos are absolutely amazing. I came in for tire repair which they informed me I didn't actually need. They made sure my vehicle was safe to drive and also shared some of their vast knowledge with me. I’ve been coming to this Mavis for a while and it’s consistently been the best experience. First time I went in was after a flat, and since then I’ve gotten all new tires, control arm work, and the occasional oil change when I can’t get to it myself. Adam and Carlos are always straightforward, patient, super friendly, and willing to walk me through any questions I have. They take their time explaining what’s going on with my car without trying to upsell or rush me, which I really appreciate. The work gets done quickly, the pricing is competitive, and I always feel like I’m in good hands. This location has earned my trust and it’s one of the only places I go for service now.
