McCabe's Tire & Service

Shop is really nice, you gotta give that to whoever owns it. That guy that did my scheduling was nice. The kids that are in the bay. Ahhh, maybe need some guidance. You guys quit calling about the tires I ordered so you must have gotten rid of them? Good for me and good for you! I just don’t have patience for that stuff.

WONDERFUL experience! They do great work, they are honest and very reasonably priced. I had a new belt put on, new back brakes and a tire patched. All were done very well. I will definitely be a longtime customer moving forward.

Absolutely wonderful service. If you have a diesel pickup 250 to 550 or 2500 to 5500 this place should be your first choice for service and repairs. They may surprise you about what they can fix. Pretty much everything other than major engine tear downs.

I usually never leave reviews, but this visit made me want to. I was concerned about my transmission's condition on my RAV4 as it felt like it was driving and shifting strange, so I called them up one morning. I know a lot of shops in my experience don't touch transmissions with a 10ft pole so I expected a "we don't do that work, sorry" but I was shocked to hear that they did. The owner and I had a great conversation about the car and the services and the costs of all work that needed to be done and recommended a flush and fill for the transmission. Off we went later that day from Asheville, down the mountain to McCabes's and dropped the car off (telling them to call and tell me what the damage to the transmission is) and then to the future in-laws house to wait out the service. About a month ago, my wife was in an accident in Morganton. 4 hours away from home. When Eastern NC had the 1st snow of the year. She was stranded on a work trip. McCabes's stepped up in ways I could never repay. Looking at the vehicle and handling things when I could not. Service for someone they have never met. 100% best customer service and effort I have ever witnessed.
