McGee/TTC

Sean was awesome. He saw me pull into the lot in my motorhome. He walked out to greet me and immediately got things rolling… The technician was there to help before I could get parked on the pad. He got everything sorted and got me back on the road incredibly quick! Overall, it wasn't tremendously positive experience. If I'm back in Daytona and need something, McGee will be the first call I make!

I would give ten stars if I could! Long story short: tire blew out on vacation in the NC mountains. Dealer put on the wrong type of tires. The drive back to Daytona was ok but I thought it was odd that my speedometer showed from 70-80 but even slow semi’s were passing me! I took the car to the dealership thinking something was wrong with the car, but they said everything was fine and I had the wrong tires on my car. I called McGee‘s automotive in Daytona Beach because they are owned by the same company that put the bad tires on my car up in NC. Wayne and his crew immediately Rectified the situation and ordered the correct tires and replaced the bad ones completely free of charge. I learned many years ago when I found myself on my own after my husband passed away that I was entering an arena that I knew nothing about And I had three vehicles. I found Wayne Floyd when I needed tires.. I found him to be very responsible very knowledgeable very caring about me and my vehicles and very pleasant to talk to and to work with. I’m in my 80s and I trust Wayne and his crew implicitly. I have told anyone who asked about where they should go or complained about where they are going, I would always tell them where they should be going. It’s not always the name out there on the sign that matters. It’s the people inside when you go through the door that makes all the difference in the world!

I've been in the automotive trades running a Speed Shop, as a 12-year Cadillac Dealership parts and Body Shop Manager, and served as Editor of seven different hot rodding and drag racing magazines. Your store in Daytona Beach, and YOUR Manager. SEAN, is top notch in every respect. Having four Goodyears with maybe 6,000-miles on them, I never had a blown sidewall until now, nor have I ever had such a "Road Hazard" blowout that was NOT covered in any way, shape, or form for free replacement. I get it. Crap happens when life spirals downhill. Great service, camaraderie among car guys, and my ninth Cadillac is standing tall once again, after being IMPOUNDED (shown) following that sidewall explosion upon pulling INTO my local U-Haul store(!). Wayne and Sean are always great faces to see and they always take care of me. They take care of my vehicle like its their own and they can put a smile on anyone's face! Todd at the front counter is good too. Great mechanics as well.
