Mechanicsville Toyota Service

I moved to the area with a vehicle that was still under a warranty/service plan. I found it easy to schedule appointments (usually a week out is when you have options). I found that sometimes these maintenance appointments would have a reasonable wait time, while some were longer than they should have been. The waiting room is large and has plenty of seating, but it is almost always full, so if you don't like being around people it's not ideal. There's been a couple of times they recommended services that were not necessary and you can certainly find a competent mechanic that will quote you less than what they will quote. I went in for a simple oil change, tire rotation, and a courtesy inspection. I set an appointment for 2:30, but they didn't finish the job until two hours later. After driving the car off the lot for only 20 miles, all the warning lights illuminated on the dashboard. The car only has 56k miles it's a 2018 vehicle. I reached out to the service manager, Trevor Bartholowmew, via phone and text, but received no response.

Went to get one of my tires fixed due to punctured nail. Waited over 2 hours. The nail and hole was fixed, but now my car tire is misaligned and unbalanced. Worst service ever.

My husband and I want to give a big Shout Out to an employee in your Service Department who handled our situation with our car from start to finish keeping us updated on the service and making sure everything was taken care of. Her name is Kayla, (not sure of spelling), she was so kind and she really knew her job. Your fortunate to have her as and Employee! Thank you

I wasn't sure what to do since it was my first experience with the service department. You drive into the shop and exit your car. I stood there confused as 3 employees actively avoided eye contact. After I called out their rudeness they were helpful. All you need to do is greet the customer with, "hello, someone will be right with you.". Just acknowledge the person's presence. It doesn't cost you a dime.
