Mega Detail/Hand Car Wash & Emission testing

I’ve been a customer of this car wash for about three years, and unfortunately the experience has consistently been hit or miss. In the beginning, my only issue was paint damage, which the manager did address and compensate for. However, the overall operation has become increasingly disorganized and unprofessional. Also, depending on who checks you out the price fluctuates. It’s disappointing, because I genuinely try to support small businesses—but at a certain point, it simply isn’t worth the frustration. Even with only a few cars ahead of you, the wait routinely stretches to two hours or more. On my most recent visit, after waiting an hour, a worker intentionally moved another vehicle ahead of mine for reasons that were never explained. The manager woke me up in the waiting area only to

Would never recommend this place! Took a practically new truck to them for a wash and wax. They did an extremely poor job… they left wax all over my truck. I didn’t notice it until I got home… then over the next couple of days it got worse… they got wax all over the black pieces of my truck. I mean it’s everywhere! I’ve washed the truck three times and have tried a couple different products to fix it, but still can’t get it to completely go away. On top of that they charged me the wrong price and the guy checking me out said it was taxes. These people are not to be trusted!

Extremely rude. They lost my key, then told me they never had the key….after they started and moved the car…. Guy told me, “I wash cars everyday, there is no key!” So….did you pick up the car and carry it a few minutes ago? Then, surprise!!! they found the key in the car right where they left it, and no apologies for the rudeness to me. Last time for me! Cannot recommend.

Just a reckless place to bring your car. They use brushes on broom sticks and that provided numerous scratches on my Truck. When I asked about the scratches they got super defensive and rude and I was actually polite. The overall job wasn’t good and it’s not like it’s cheap quick job. Just not worth it. Townelake needs a good hand car wash place.

Be AWARE. Be sure to ask the price before the service. It was my first time there( which I told him ) and I was reading the list of prices that say 29.99 and 39.99 and so on. When he came up he immediately tried to distract me and give me the sheet to sign that says my service would be 49.99 . When I questioned him about it he stated that prices went up in June/July. I questioned why the sign says one thing and that he didn't even ask me what I wanted which is when he became very rude and defensive. So I stated that I would then leave and then he continued to be defensive and rude about it refusing to give me my keys which I had to ask for multiple times.
