Mel Hambelton Ford, Inc. Service

I can’t thank Mel Hambelton enough in my service experiences for taking care of me and my 2019 Mustang 5.0! Ed was extremely helpful, and the technician Justin showing me his findings in his multi point inspection for stuff I wasn’t aware of prior to the vehicle coming in for work and Ed kept me informed on everything that was going on with my vehicle. They handled everything I asked they did a full front suspension job control arms, end links, struts, camber plates, mounts, plus an alignment. The turnaround time was amazing and the quality of work was excellent. I also can’t thank Mel Hambelton enough for the years of great service they’ve provided me with my previous 5.0s. Always a top-notch experience!

The people are friendly and helpful. However, I made an appointment for a routine oil change and tire rotation. The appointment was for 1PM on a Friday afternoon. I arrived a few minutes early and was told the wait would be at least 2 hours. I live 12 miles out of town so getting a ride home wasn't going to work. The service was completed at 3:40 PM. The service shouldn't take more than 50 minutes. I may be shopping around for another place.

In a month im at Mel hambeltons service department for the 4th time. First three times were the same window issue that was finally taken care of on the third attempt, 4th time is for my driver's speaker not being hooked back up when they worked on the window the last time. Their technicians seem to be incompetent. Brandi who helped me the first three times at drop off was the only bright point because she was super friendly, and made sure the third time they got right on it. The person im dealing with the 4th time came off rude , and didnt seem to care that they screwed up , and not im stuck here waiting for them to fix their mess up. Nothing but good news here! Nelson came to my work and fixed my window switch and cleared a recall, all while I was working! He was efficient and friendly. Super fast service, I only requested the appointment on Monday. Really continuously pleased with Mel Hambelton.

I had a vehicle breakdown and had my truck towed to Mel Hambelton for repair. I had to call twice for an update and finally got word that they wouldn’t be able to even look at my vehicle for another month. Let alone the time it takes to order parts and repair. I called Don Hattan and they said they could get me in for an appointment in the next few days. I’ve had no issues with oil changes here in the past but it seems like I’ll have to look elsewhere for any repair work.
