On 6/26/23 this contractor, Preston Wright of Metro Marine, agreed to install an AC unit in my boat within 3 days (install date was to be 6/29/23) as long as I paid for 2 day shipping so the parts could be ordered and as long as I paid via Venmo so he had the funds immediately. I did just that, and he confirmed receipt of my payment. However, he was a No Show on the agreed upon installation date and didn’t let me know ahead of time that he couldn’t make it. During the weeks that followed, he told me numerous days that he’d be arriving to do the install but that never happened. During this same timeframe I started suspecting he was scamming me and I felt uncomfortable that I paid via Venmo so I asked repeatedly if the AC unit I paid for could be shipped to my home address to alleviate my co
