Customer Reviews
I bought my 2014 Pathfinder from a friend a couple years ago by cash. Any routine services and work that needs to be done on the car, I just bring the car to any auto body shop that charges me cheap (because plenty of car shops overcharge women). So I’ve never had to come to the Nissan Dealership. And I’ve been good with the car for 5/6 years now. I’ve been receiving Recall letters from the dealership for a very long time now. Like years.. I always ignored them but finally decided to go in and see how it all works. The car needed 2 recalls to be worked on. No charge to me as they were Nissan Recalls so Nissan pays for it. That was my biggest concern honestly. And other than that, they said it could be about 1 hr and a half. It ended up being more like 2 hrs but they have coffee, hot choco
Shon was the manager who helped me get into this car I thought was out of my reach credit wise however he was able to put me in this vehicle. Only thing bad I have to say is the Finance guy railroaded me into that package that I cannot did not want however he made it sound like it came with the deal and then at the end you told me it increased my total after I signed everything
After a horrible experience at another Nissan service department in the DFW area, Metro Nissan far surpassed my expectations. Josh took the time to actually think critically about what was going on and worked to properly diagnose the issue my truck was having. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or taken advantage of. Most importantly, he didn’t try to upsell unnecessary labor or parts, which is rare and greatly appreciated. This was an honest, professional experience, and I’ll absolutely be coming back for future service.
TL;DR: Typical dealership service (none). Go find someone who actually wants your business. Made an appointment a few days prior, brought it in to diagnose an issue on Saturday morning at 8:30am. Tech on site said they would be able to look at it today and they would call me with any updates. Heard nothing by 4pm until I called, and was informed they would now need to keep my car so they could look at it on Monday. They had not looked at my car at all today. Was told they had gotten too busy to do so in fact. 8 hours and you can't even *start* on a diagnostic? Doesn't matter if that's just poor time management or laziness, that's straight up unacceptable. There's a good reason people say don't go to a dealership. I'd love to have said these guys were the exception to that, but sadly not.
Tried to call for service questions, the front desk person picked up almost immediately, but then transferred me off to speak to an ‘advisor’. She’d actually transferred me to the Parts department, which is only found out after an HOUR AND A HALF on hold. The person in P says who picked up immediately transferred me again to Service, where I remained on hold for another HOUR. I’m sure it would have been longer but I hung up once they CLOSED. TLDR: called to ask a service question, was on hold for 2.5 hours, never got to even ask my question. Edit: Called again in the morning, got to immediately talk to a service advisor who answered my questions quickly And completely. Thank you!
