Went in for brake inspection and repair. Brought my car in around 8:30am, waited all day for any update, and received a call from a tech 15 minutes before they closed at 3:00pm with the work needed and saying they can't do it today. They didn't look at my car all day and gave me that call which was frustrating and a total waste of a day bringing it there, waiting all day, and picking it back up with no progress. Had to coordinate rides, no car for the day etc. Had I known the inspection would take place 30 minutes before closing, I could have tried somewhere else. This was the day before the big snow storm, so I was basically stuck for a few days afterwards. They also quoted me $1300 for the brake repair for all rotors and pads, which seemed alright. I made an appointment with Firestone

I brought my car in for an emissions test, but I figured I should get an oil change and tire rotation while I was there as well. And since it had been a minute, I ended up getting a filter and brake fluid change as well. The folks at the Canton Midas kept me posted as my car was being worked on and were very pleasant to engage with in general. Highly recommend coming here for maintenance on your vehicle.
