I brought my car in for a check engine light and they told me I need new spark plugs, flush, and coils. I asked if both repairs were absolutely necessary and they fear mongered me by saying my car could stop on the highway if I didn’t. Something in me told me to go check with a local mechanic and I did. The price my local mechanic quoted me was HALF what Midas stated. And also turns out I didn’t need the coils and they were just upselling. This lack of integrity in business practices is why I’m giving a 1 star review. Over charging and selling customers unnecessary things is messed up. I would recommend anyone to go to a local shop instead of this chain. Also, they pay for 5 star reviews. Staff are very professional and provide excellent service. They have very knowledgeable mechanics. They provided a free inspection; they actually do a real look around the vehicle and are great at explaining what they see. Will 100% recommend a friend to take their car to this place.

Last weekend our car died on the turnpike due to a battery issue. We were driving from Illinois to Virginia. This was one of the few places around that were open on a Saturday and I was happy that they were able to get me in same day. They were able to correctly identify the issue (battery cable) and get me back on the road. After the repair, I noticed some things working, like lock/unlock lights, that had not worked in years. I believe the tech actually found an issue that has nagged this car for a long time and has been missed by others since our car has had some flaky electrical issue over the years. Was very happy to be able to get back on the road and at a reasonable cost.

Mechanics were so nice! We got stuck driving from Chicago to Cleveland with 5 kids and they took us in, let the kids color while they checked the car and gave us 5 star service. Very impressed!

Eddie and his Tech Jason are friggin awesome! I didn’t go without a vehicle the whole time. Guys were straight up and forward about things I knew were on the verge of going.. The guys are even working after hours to get the rest of my stuff done. My ride is almost complete, one more small task and we’re good 10/10 recommend! Courteous and respectful, and if you’re not a dick, might snag a deal on parts! I’ll be coming back here, for sure!
