Customer Reviews
Had a great initial experience with Midas in Canada, than got stuck with these people. First of all, nobody was rude in any way so coodos for that, but y’all were going to pull a fast one on us so others be aware of this. Went to get a tire covered under warranty. Took it in on a Friday, and on Monday we were good to go. All of a sudden later that monday I got a call with a 1200$ charge for my rim and a new tire. They couldnt find the tire I had so they were just going to put a different one on and charge me without saying anything or covering it with the warranty. It took until the 4th phone call asking for clarifications that one of the staff happened to mention this. On top of that, the rim was going to be charged at 900ish$ when we could have brought it new from Hinda for under 700$
I went in to replace the belt on my Mazda of Everett. I waited 30 minutes for Adrian because he arrived late. When he finally showed up, he gave me a receipt but did not explain anything. All he said was that the car would be ready in 45 minutes. When I came back, I was told the total would be $610, which was double what my dealer had quoted me. I immediately said no and explained that if I had known they were going to do an inspection or charge that much, I would not have wasted my time—especially since I had just been to the dealer. When I asked for my keys, Adrian handed me a bill for $52.75. I told him I was not paying that. He said I signed paperwork, but nothing was explained to me—no inspection, no additional charges, nothing. Again, all I was told was that the car would be ready
Midas should do the right thing and give me a refund. I went in for an oil change, and my check engine light started flashing. They changed the oil but ignored the flashing light. My car was still stalling and wouldn’t go over 25 mph, so I went back multiple times. Each time they sent me away without fixing the issue. They eventually told me I needed a new coil and spark plugs, kept my car for the weekend after I’d already waited nearly five hours, and still didn’t fix the problem. When I picked it up the next week, they admitted they didn’t know what was wrong and told me to go to the dealership. The dealership immediately found the issue: Midas had installed the wrong coil and spark plugs! When I asked Midas for a refund, I was bounced around between staff. The manager, Terry, never call
I’ve been going to this place for the last few years just for the basics. Oil change, tire rotation, etc. I started noticing issues with the car kind of bouncing when I shifted. Next thing I knew, my tire light went on. I took a look at it and could hear it hissing so figured I must’ve hit a nail or something. I’d go get it patched while I get an oil change too. Turns out the treads were worn ALL the way down on the inside of the back tires. It was crazy. It’s a miracle I didn’t have a blowout. The last time I was in there for a 5000 mile oil change and tire rotation they told me my tires had a good amount of life on them. There’s no way this happened over 5k miles. I immediately took it to a different shop to get a new set. Based on the wear pattern, they said there’s no way these tires
Dropped off my car for oil change, service was quick and efficient. But manager Joe behavior was rude. His attitude towards customers is not warm. Asst manager James was patient and helped understanding service details, cost etc. They will only do wheel alignments for older cars before 2015. They should consider cars after 2015 as well.
