⭐ 1 STAR — COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE AND BORDERLINE SCAMMY I came to this Midas location for diagnostics only to address two very specific, obvious problems: • A severely inaccurate speedometer • A strong gas smell while the car is idling Despite that being the entire reason for my visit, they failed to diagnose either issue. What they did manage to do was waste my time, overcharge me, communicate poorly, and hand me a diagnostic report filled with random, non-urgent, and unnecessary “recommendations” that had nothing to do with why I was there. It felt less like diagnostics and more like a template upsell sheet they print for everyone. From the start, the front desk experience was a mess. The employee up front, Cody Dorminey, repeatedly did not listen to what I was saying. I clearly state

Good service. Decent speed. Different midas stores dont talk to each other so you will need to sign up your vehicle here if its your first time at this location.

The appointment process was quick and very easy to navigate. The shop was clean and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They even had the K-State game on, the seating was comfortable, and the restroom was spotless and smelled great. The staff were both professional and personable. Even though it was my first visit, they made me feel like I had been a customer for years. I also appreciated the real-time updates directly on my phone, which made the entire experience even more convenient. Overall, I was extremely impressed and will definitely be returning.

Great service. I love the updates they give through text and the fact that they inspect your entire car to make sure things are good. Gives time to prepare for future repairs! Came in for an oil change, and they also have 3 different price ranges for you to choose from, which is nice.

The staff at the Midas location off Seth Child Rd. is fantastic. Been taking mine and my wife’s car here for 3 years and they do a great job every time. They are efficient and always do a great job of explaining the issues and repairs, while being honest about what needs immediate attention and what can wait. The only shop I’ll take my cars to in Manhattan, thanks as always
