I’ve been taking my old Jeep to Mitchel’s for years now, and every single time it’s been nothing but solid work and straight talk. Last month the check engine light came on right before a big haul up to the mountains, and Mitch had me in the same day, diagnosed a bad sensor in like 20 minutes, and had it fixed and road-tested before lunch. No upselling, no surprises on the bill—just honest, skilled work from a guy who clearly knows his stuff inside and out. Shop’s clean, organized, and the whole crew is friendly without being over-the-top. Feels good knowing there’s still a place like this around. 5 stars, hands down, and I’ll keep coming back.

Brought our truck to another garage and it sat for a month without anyone looking at it. Had it towed to Mitchels and they called me that day to let me know they had it. Kept in contact the whole time. They diagnosed and fixed quickly. Super friendly and polite. They even returned my call when they saw my missed call. Our third time here. Highly recommend.

Mitch in Silver City has been my mechanic since I first moved to New Mexico. I've always been pleased with his services. A few years ago, he even installed cruise control for me and it works great! He has always serviced my car and made sure everything was good to go for those long trips to WI.

Very professional and has an impressive shop. Fixed up my Yukon within a few hours. After taking to a few people that couldn't figure it out. Quote was right on the money. Was out of the way for me but definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend him to anyone
