I recently acquired a 2004 911 Carrera and had to install a new heat pump, do maintenance and repair a damaged control unit due to rodents chewing wires and shorting the unit. Modderman figured out the lowest cost approach to fixing everything, communicated clearly, and were extremely professional and creative in problem solving (without having to send for parts from Germany / 5 week delay, etc). Highly recommend this shop!

Update: Dave, the owner, called me back to make things right. He replaced a water pump for me and, while at it, he replaced the belt tensioner as well. At the end, it was a good experience. If you come here, make sure to talk to the owner. Original: I brought my 718 Cayman in for an oil change and was told I had a leaking water pump. They promised to show me the issue upon pickup, but when I arrived, they had no photos and couldn't provide any visual evidence of the leak. The owner was supposed to follow up with a quote for the repair, but it's been a week with no communication. This lack of follow-through and inability to substantiate their claims feels unprofessional. Now I have to pay another mechanic to verify the issue. I would not recommend their services.

Class act all the way! These guys know Porsche and everything to help keep your Porsche running as intended. These guys keep busy, so schedule weeks in advance. Dave, his team and his shop provide the highest level of service. Dave took me under my car, which I brought in for an initial inspection and minor service, to show and explain areas of the car that need attention and things to observe. His shop and workspace is quite organized and clean for the amount of work they are doing. The shop is on the level of "camera ready". Pulling into Modderman Service instantly let me know I was at the right place. This shop provides excellent quality service with matching knowledge & experience, so be prepared to pay for that quality. Shouldn't be a problem if your familiar with Porsche.

Had an alternator failure on my 85 Carrera. Had it towed to Modderman outside of business hours. Despite being booked out pretty solidly, Dave sourced a new alternator and got me rolling within a couple of days. Top tier service!
