Monkey Wrench Auto Repair

Thank y’all so much for putting the battery in my son’s truck. Even though he bought it somewhere else, Monkey Wrench put it in for him. Took a minute on a busy Monday, but he got it back in a few short hours. He said the folks there were very kind. 11/24/25 Update: my college boys truck brakes went out and he told us over the weekend. Nothing we can do about it. I called and left a message Sunday evening and Sharon called me first thing Monday. They got the kids truck in Monday morning, he picked it up Monday afternoon. New brakes, new rotor new wheel bearing on right front tire. And my boy gets to come home safely for Thanksgiving. Sharon and Bruce are rockstars.

My car broke down when I was in the area for work, so it was towed to this location. Bruce was so nice as to come in on his day off to work on it for me, so I could get back home. He even came and picked me up to take me to the repair shop! Highly recommend!

Disappointed already know about the Low compression in cylinder 2, to pay for something already know and that they don’t do that kind of work anymore, and know another mechanic that can do the work 🤔. What did I pay for?

Love Robert and his staff! They are amazing to work with and also are fast at getting your vehicle repaired quickly and correctly! So far we have had an alternator replaced, and a thermostat replaced, both repairs were completed the same day I took them in with the issue! I can not express how much these gentleman know what they are doing, but also doing it with a friendly and caring manor!

This is the type of business that makes you love Canyon so much more. It seems like a mom and pop or family run business. They are always pleasant on the phone and always do a good job. I dread taking my car anywhere in Amarillo. I like that we have a quality repair shop here in Canyon. I love their service and kind attitudes. You can’t beat a small town mechanic!
