I brought my very old car to Morano Brothers because I was planning a long road trip and wanted to make sure it was roadworthy. Initially, they told me it looked like it would need major repairs — understandable, given the age of the car. But after they took a closer look and did some more digging, they discovered the issue wasn’t nearly as serious as they first thought. Instead of pushing unnecessary work, they gave me a much lower quote and explained everything clearly. It’s refreshing to find honest mechanics who actually take the time to get it right rather than just trying to upsell you. The car ran perfectly on the trip, and I’ll definitely be going back to them for any future work. Highly recommend!

Do NOT give these people any of your money. After a car crash last year, I spoke to them about bringing the car to them for an assessment and repairs. The guy I spoke to was rude and arrogant. I kept trying to explain the situation to him, but he would not listen. He insisted the car had been totalled but in fact it had not. In the end we decided not to go with them, and we are very grateful for that. They also have this big American flag at the front of the building, as if to pretend their patriotism makes up for terrible customer service... It doesn't.

Hands down the WORST experience I've had at an auto shop. Brought my car in for an electrical problem and they cut a wire without asking me beforehand. This created another issue, which they said they could fix for around $1500 with no guarantee that it would fix my problem. I obviously passed given they created the issue. The Toyota mechanic I went to afterwards said what they did made no sense and they shouldn't have cut the wire without asking me. He was baffled they did this and now it's creating more hassle than the original issue. To make matters worse, when I called Morano Brothers to get more information about what they cut, Bob was extremely rude, stating that he had already explained the issue to me several times. Had a slight mishap. Another driver hit my driver's side mirror and tour it apart. I went to Morano Brothers for an estimate. We agreed on the price, they ordered the new part and it arrived. I dropped my car off and the work was done is a couple of hours. Mirror looks great. Bob was very friendly, easy to talk to and kept me informed on progress. Will be going back if I ever need body work in the future.

My wife steered me to this place after reading a Len Lear piece in the Chestnut Hill Local. I picked up my SUV a little while ago, and I am so happy I now know about this garage. I was growing frustrated bringing my SUV back to the dealer, thinking that they must be "the experts" with the vehicles they sell, but they would continually disappoint, because they were either unable to diagnose what was wrong with my truck, or they when they claimed to have fixed an issue, the issue would continue.
