I recently took a vehicle from a local used dealership on a test drive and needed to get mechanic inspection - I pulled in the parking lot and approached two men working in the shop, after telling them my situation, one took time away from what he was working on to help me in the parking lot - the vehicle was a larger suv so the first thing he did was check for rust in the problem areas that were the most important, pointed out some of the red flags he saw around the engine, and gave me some really helpful advice on what to look for in any used car I test drive in the future - my mom and I were very appreciative of his kindness and honesty
