Mr. Suds Hand Wash & Detail Center of Port Washington

Don't bother with this place! I got a general car wash, inside and out. The passenger side looked like a car looks when you drive in a puddle-- I had to have them come and clean the dirt off manually! It wasn't hard dirt-- it was dirt I could rub off with my finger-but the "wash" didn't get simple dirt. I think they use the same water over and over. There didn't seem to be brushes like many car washes have, that really clean the car off. The inside wasn't done well either and I had to ask the guy to remedy these things. All in all, it was a waste of money and I'd never go there again. Save your money and go elsewhere.

1/20/24 update: someone from this place replied to this review offering to make things right. I called the next day to find out exactly what they would do, whether i would be charged for it, and when to come because i do not live close by and it's a real time commitment to go. I called several times throughout the day but no one picked up. I left a message to give me a call back, explaining who i was and why i wanted to talk to someone. That was 2 weeks ago. I have yet to get a reply. I'm not bothering going there on a whim and risking them telling me they don't know what I'm talking about and having to pay them to fix their sloppiness. I spent over $50 on the highest wash. They didn’t even bother touching my wheels. Update: I went back and they addressed all of my concerns. I still think they could spend a little more time on the wheels.

Used to be very good, not sure what happened. The rag is after one swipe on the rim in the parking lot next to the car wash after I had left. Waited about an hour for this.

Great place for a quick and cheap wash. I have airbag suspensions and it went great. The process is easy. Very nice staff and washes. Definitely will be returning back.
