Mt. Pleasant Home

My Dad has lived at Mount Pleasant Home for a few months now and really likes it. It is a good place to live for people who are still pretty independent but need or want help with laundry, meals, and housecleaning. It is a well-managed place, and the staff are very kind and helpful to residents. I'm really glad my Dad has found a home there.

I came to MPH after having major surgery with the idea of recovery and staying no longer than 6 months. It is now 4 1/2 years and the time has flown by. The staff is warm, caring, and compassionate. The home is kept very clean and tidy, while the meals are absolutely delicious and satisfying. Part of the home is based in an historic building that was built prior to 1877. Period furnishings can be found throughout the home adding to its charm and preservation. Come for a visit, come to live. Either choice, you will be met with a warm and caring environment.
