Mt Vernon Auto Parts

I called 3 local places. All 3 places asked "what is that?" After telling them that I need some cylinder head dowel pins... I called Mt. Vernon Auto Parts and spoke with Gary who I'll say knew exactly what I needed. Gary asked a few questions and we decided that we needed a size. I called back after finding the size and Gary had some down time and went above and beyond nearly all parts stores I've dealt with an got a dealership part number. He cross checked and checked a cross to locate the pins... Only REASON I didn't order is the price that had nothing to do with them... I live in Evansville and yes, I would drive to Mt Vernon to buy parts here cause they know what's going on. Thanks again Gary... You guys rock and now on my speed dial...

Wanted to get some hydraulic lines with a banjo fitting made. Gave all of my information for the lines, only to get a call every 2 weeks for a couple months saying -- ohh, I forgot to look Into it They can get you your part, or make it, but you're gonna wait forever, currently waiting 3 weeks for fuel lines.

If you need it they have it.They have more parts than I have ever seen in one building.They were very busy the day we were there. The staff all worked together very well. They eliminated our down time by several hours. They do an excellent job making up hydraulic hoses. Job well done .

The owner doesn’t want to make parts right even with a life time warranty

Always have great Customer Service. Gary always usually helps me and hes very knowledgeable and figures out what I need when I dont even know. He should get a raise
