Mt. Vernon Road Tire

We have been taking our vehicles to Mt. Vernon Road Tire for years and they have always been kind, accommodating, fast, and fairly priced. Their customer service is phenomenal. They are patient, friendly, and they really try to explain everything to you in terms of the repair. I have never felt pressured to fix something, but they are up front when it's an issue that really needs to repaired for safety. I appreciate that. They just fixed my break pads and took so much care to make sure the pedal was also working optimally. Every team member I interacted with was extremely nice and made me feel like a valued customer. They were also beyond fair with pricing. I think the SE side is lucky to have Mt. Vernon Rd Tire!

The mechanics here are very friendly and seem to care deeply about their clients. They know all their clients by name, and I feel like I am being cared for when I take my vehicle in. They do good work and are very transparent about their pricing, recommending maintenance but ultimately leaving the final decision to the consumer. I am grateful to have found such a great shop in Cedar Rapids!

This is the best car shop in the area, they are honest, and they know what they are doing. This is my second time I go there, they were able to know what exactly to fix for the best price. This is my second review. My first review is below 👇. Thanks for your good service and trustworthy. My car started to slow down with sound in the motor right infront of the Good year store. I went to the shop, they were extremely helpful, welcoming and worked as fast as they could to fix my car. They fixed my car right away while I was waiting in the lobby,I am very thankful to find this place. Finally someone knows how to diagnose a car problem without making a big deal, and they will try to work out things the way that fits your budget. My car runs as it should be. I highly recommend this place! This came in recommended by a neighbor. I had a slow leak in one of my tires, and I had already attempted to have it repaired by two other places. Every time in the past I've needed a repair, other places end up trying to sell me a tire, this was the first time I've had a place actually just fix it. So I cannot appreciate enough places that still have integrity. They scheduled me appropriately and took care of it in a very timely fashion. The bill was very reasonable. And the staff was phenomenal!!! We need to support more places like this!

Imagine getting a flat tire the morning of Christmas Eve with plans to travel to family! I was able to limp in on a spare tire at noon just as they were locking up for the day. One of their team saw the predicament i was in and stuck around to get me fixed up even though they were closing. I told him I could handle putting it back on myself but they saw me struggling and came out to the parking lot and finished helping me! These guys saved Christmas! 😃 Highly recommend.
