Mundelein Tire & Service

I tried Mundelein Tire and Service for the first time for a brake problem on my truck. I was very happy with the service I received. They were great at communication. They drove me home and picked back up when the brakes were fixed. A thorough inspection was done. My brakes were fixed for a very reasonable price. I will be a regular customer here!

I asked for an oil change, tire rotation and new engine air cleaner. The service rep told me the air cleaner was like new and that the tire tread depth on the back tires was deeper and their position should be maintained. Anytime an auto service garage turns down a money making repair because it is not necessary, you figure they are trustworthy. A dealership, on the other hand, finds problems that don't exist. They also seem to do a very thorough all points check and report.

Total rip off, Mundelein Tire is the kind of company that gives the auto repair business a bad reputation. Was given an outrages price of $3500 for the repair. When I question the price and said I was having another company check the system out, All of sudden he was able to drop the price in half. Went to another mechanic and had issue fixed for $500 and they did a great job. The part I was told needed to be replaced was not even bad. I will never go to Mundelein Tire again. No Stars!!!

Check engine light was on, they couldn’t determine exactly what was malfunctioning, they had my car for three days doing test after test. Instead of guessing or replacing something that wasn’t needed, they were upfront and honest and limited the work to diagnostic tests. I appreciate the honesty and price for testing for 3 days.
