We bought a 2018 peterbilt rear loader for $105k plus $15k for shipping to Hawaii. When I truck landed I could barely drive it. I’m not happy with this purchase. The issues that they said that was going to be fixed wasn’t. The oil leak between the engine and trans, the check engine light came on as soon as I picked it up we had to drive 30mph all the way to the shop. The cart tippers wasn’t installed correctly. The rear valve are crisscrossed. So when you use the left lever the right cart tipper function then when you use the right lever the left cart tipper functions. The whole def and dpf system needs to be changed. Parts alone is $20k. I reached out to them to see if they were going to make it right but got no response back.

The worst possible scenario; Absolutely predatory marketing. The published manufactured date was accurate for the chassis only body turned out to be 10 years older than advertised. ALL and I mean ALL body operating safety parameters were removed ... ABSOLUTLEY ALL no operating computer let alone a safety program of any type, this truck had a hydraulic pump always running ... you could move the arms at 60 MPH. Poor repair welds, lights placed in wrong positions after the rattle can paint job. Too many more to list and the absolute kicker was the company would not return truck nor address issues after it was deemed to unsafe for service.
