Murrieta Smog Star & Official Brake & Lamp Station

Another smog, another great experience. Today during the smog test I was told the OBD plug wasn't working but they would get it figured out. After spending their own time, without charging me, the problem was found, fixed and I was sent on my way a happy customer. BTW, I live in Hemet and I make the extra drive to Murrieta Smog Star for my smog checks because these guys are amazing!

One of the few places that offer California Safety Inspections which are now required by law in California when trying to register a newly salvaged vehicle. They offered appointments and completed the inspection in about 1 hour. They were nice enough to do a quick walk around before paying in case there was something right off the bat that would fail the inspection. Staff was very friendly and I got the felling this is a solid shop that isn't trying to upsell you, they'll do the work needed at a good price!

I needed to get the official state brake and light inspection for a salvage title, and Marietta Smog Star was able to fit me in the same day, provided I left my vehicle with them. It did take some time, but I didn't have to make an appointment, and the entire team there was fantastic. The technician was knowledgeable and articulate, communicating directly with me throughout the process. The gentleman at the front desk was refreshingly honest about what to expect—he explained the timeline, costs, and what steps to take depending on whether I passed or failed the inspection. Overall, the team worked seamlessly together, and I wish them continued success!!
