NAPA Auto Parts - Chantilly

20240906 I ordered a hand drill online for pick up at the store vs Free Delivery because it was 20% off Labor Day weekend. First time visiting this store. The employee at the counter was helpful. I was surprised that the box that the drill came in was dusty. It would have been nice if the dust was wiped off... but then, it's an auto store, not a place I frequent. Need to lower my expectations. 😁

Service was good but there was a line of 3 people in front of me and it took roughly 20 minutes to get up there and realize the website inventory didn’t match what was in store. Bummer since I came from another store in Herndon that told me the Chantilly location had the stock I needed.

Crystal at the NAPA auto parts store in 14154C Willard rd, Chantilly, VA was amazing! She went above and beyond to help me find the parts I needed, I called before going to the store and she had the parts ready for me at the counter when I got there. Not only that, but she also gave me a great deal. Her friendly, helpful, and welcoming attitude made my experience so much better. I had gone to buy a center brake bulb for my Hyundai Elantra. The person at the counter helped me and suggested that I could get the car repaired locally here. He was really helpful.

I didn't get the guys name, but he saved me a huge amount of headache. The starter I needed replaced had no useful marking or numbers of any kind, and even though in the end we found that NAPA no longer stocks the starter I needed, he found a manufacturer and model number for me. That information got a replacement in my hands two days and $500+ cheaper than the dealer for that particular brand of heavy equipment. It's hard to beat 40+ years of experience.
