NAPA Auto Parts - Springhill

I had a very frustrating experience with this Napa Auto Parts store. I purchased a car battery from them, which started giving me issues a year later. Knowing it was under warranty, I returned to the same store for assistance. Unfortunately, the clerk initially refused to help me because I didn’t have a receipt, even though I asked if he could look up the purchase using the serial number. After calling corporate (who confirmed I didn’t need a receipt), I called the store back, and suddenly the clerk was able to locate my purchase. Why he couldn’t do this before is beyond me. When I returned to the store with the battery, the clerk tested it but said he needed to keep it overnight to confirm it was bad. Pricing seems to be the biggest issue with this store. I have heard from several people that pricing is very high. I realize there is a price to pay for having a store in a small town but maybe this store has gone beyond perceived market value of the products. I have visited the store and made a small purchase and compared it. Yes, it was quite a bit higher.

Gave me the wrong part. Not open on Saturday. There website and Google maps said 9 to 2 pm. Not a holiday weekend. Just decided not to show up. No store hours sign. Nothing.

Great guy's, selection is limited and prices are higher. But they will get it in for you quickly. And paying a little more for a small town family owned business is worth it in my eyes.

I understand a store has to make money but charging $30 dollars more for a part than all of the surrounding stores are charging is flat ripping the customer off. This store has lied to me in the past swore I'd never go back and I see that things sure have not changed.
