I brought my vehicle in for a no-start issue that happened mostly in cold weather. I explained this from the beginning. I paid hundreds of dollars for diagnostics and repairs, including an inhibitor switch and later a starter, none of which fixed the problem. After more than $1,000 spent on parts, labor, and tows, I was told additional repairs were needed without any guarantee the issue would be resolved. When the car still would not start after one of the repairs, I was told I still had to pay for the labor. The rear suspension on my telluride was noisy so I went here for my state inspection and asked them if the suspension I had replaced just a couple of months ago was already failing. I was told what I already knew and charged diagnosis although the vehicle was under warranty. I was told warranty refused to honor the repair and if I did the work through them, they will waive the diagnosis. I paid diagnosis and left since i wanted to talk to the warranty company. I talked to the warranty, and they said there was miscommunication, and they should honor it. After weeks the service manager told me that warranty will cover one suspension, but they will only repair it in pairs. I asked him how much it'll costs me and he quoted around $300. I learned my 2015 Kia Optima was part of a motor recall when I brought it in for an inspection back in May (it failed inspection due to the motor). I was initially told the engine would be replaced and I would have my car back in August (so 3 months from when I brought it in), I was also told there was no option for a rental during this time. Part of the delay was a parts shortage, however the last few months they have had the new engine ready to be installed, just apparently did not have enough technicians to complete the job.
