National Car Rental

I’m not lying when I say National Car Rental saved my trip to Juneau! I booked a car rental with Budget a few days in advance of my port day in Juneau. Upon arriving, I was told by the Budget rep that they could not honor my reservation because they had no cars available and that I should have booked “weeks in advance.” Highly disappointed, I was unsure what to do. Our cruise was only in Juneau for half a day and had a list of places I wanted to check out before leaving. Luckily, Dawn at National was able to assist me in getting a last minute car, and, the best part, it was at a rate cheaper than what I booked with Budget. Please if you’re planning on renting a car in Juneau please book through National!! Thank you so much, Dawn!

I rented a vehicle at the Juneau AK, airport and had no issues with National. The rental policy was completed in about 5-mins, and it was short walk to get to the vehicle from the National desk.

We reserved a car from Narional Car Rental months ago in anticipation of our trip to Juneau, Alaska. We received notification a few days before our trip that our flight would be landing later than anticipated. I called the National customer service department and explained the situation with the flight. The service representative sent notification to the Juneau rental location, and promised me that someone would be there when we landed to make sure we received our rental car. We got to the National Car rental desk at the Juneau airport around 8:30 pm. Nobody was there. I asked the representatives of two other rental companies if they knew where the National representative was. I was told bluntly, "she went home". I was shocked! I explained that we had reserved a car months before, and need

National at Juneau was courteous and friendly. My car was a very nice Ford Fusion, clean and ready to go. Drop off was in the wee hours and I forgot my folio in the car, and even though I was supposed to write down the mileage and deposit with the keys I had no time to go back to the car so I just dropped my keys in the slot. They still processed my receipt and emailed it to me the very next day without complaint, bless them.

I had a good experience with fast service and a clean, new car that was as-advertised, with great rates for Juneau. The only downside was fairly aggressive upselling to try to get me to add their overpriced CDW and insurance. You can just say no, but they will be a little pushy at this location.
