National Car Rental

1ST time customer. Great experience. 6pm and Last leg of flight was cancelled in Dallas, 2 days before Christmas. Out of all the calls I made at rental places searching, they were the only one that let me drive one way and leave their car in Kansas so I could to get to Grandma's for Christmas. When I showed up to get the car they had me sign, ran the card and handed me keys (less than 5 min). The walked me out to a line of cars and said which one would you like to drive today with no BS only smiles. The drop off was just as quick, smooth and organized!!!! THANK YOU TO THEM!!!

Picking up and dropping off cars at the ICT airport National Car is a seamless and pleasant experience. Employees are friendly and efficient at their jobs. Cars are always in good condition and low mileage.

Enterprise counter was closed, had to go to National..the woman working the National counter was not helpful whatsoever. My license is cracked UNDER the barcode, still valid and can still be scanned. She stated they can't accept it due to company policy considering it a damaged license (looking at the website it does not mention this whatsoever, only that it should be valid and readable, which it is - if it's acceptable for the government, it's valid). I asked if there was ANYTHING she could do because just 2 weeks ago I had used it at the Enterprise counter with no issue! She said there is nothing that can be done, company policy. Booked car through the National app. When I arrived late in the evening I found they had cancelled my reservation. Customer service was poor. I was fortunate to find another car at Hertz after visiting a few other car rental spots - sometime they could have done. I've reached out to national twice to better understand this because I can't be in this position. But have not received a call back.

I had arranged a vehicle with Enterprise but it was unavailable so I used Avis and although it was pricy I was given a discount due to the clerk having observed my struggle at the Enterprise counter. She was very helpful and got me a car after having waited 2 hours at Enterprise. ****Highly**** recommend you have reservations at least 3 days in advance due to the limited number of cars at the airport. As you can reserve late but they do not tell you upon making those reservations online that no cars are likely available unless you reserve well in advance for them to get them there. ***#2 FYI: ***If you have a debit vs a credit card they too hold an extra $500.00 which left me with no spending money until the car was returned and further cleared after 2 more days.
