National Tire & Automotive - a Main Street Auto shop

We had a wonderful experience at National Tire. Matthew the assistant Manager addressed the issue we had with a tire. He quickly got the car in the shop and replaced the tire at a reasonable cost.

They told me my car would be done by Tuesday. They gave me all kinds of excuses every time I called up there to see if my car was done. They never called me to give me any updates. The car was not finished until Thursday late afternoon. Supposedly it took them 2 hours to do a oil change when I called up there on Thursday. They were completely overpriced and we will not be we returning to do business with them ever.

Never been to National. I won't go back. Beware, they told me I needed thousands $$ of repairs I didn't need. Verified this through two other repair shops. Know before you go. They wanted to charge me $1000.00 more than what the parts actually cost. I checked 3 auto parts stores and know what the parts cost. I understand they mark up parts. But that much. Wow!. Not this old boy. I didn't understand all the positive reviews. Maybe people don't get 2nd opinions. And due their homework and ask questions..

I had a great experience getting my car repaired here. The staff was professional, honest, and efficient. They explained everything clearly and the work was done on time. My car is running perfectly now. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: I now give them ZERO STARS & encourage you to look somewhere else if you’re wanting honesty & fair pricing. After my previous review, my son’s truck was leaking fuel so I trusted National Auto to take care of the issue WITH HONESTY just as I had thought they had done previously. That is not what happened this time. They ran diagnostics, told me the fuel pump was cracked and the line was broke and that both would need to be replaced for a cost of $1,400. I felt that was extremely high and opted to not have them do the work. At that point, they asked me what price range I wanted to be at and then offered to do the work for $1,210. That struck me as very odd considering the price for auto mechanic work is generally non-negotiable. I paid the diagnostic fee ($171) and had the truck tow
