Naval Base Kitsap Commercial Vehicle Inspection Gate

Had to park and go to the ID verification building. I thought it would take all day. I didn't even get finished with the form they gave me but they let me jump the line to get cleared and back out, I went, to make my delivery. Since then every delivery has been a piece of cake. Now it's one of my preferred deliveries. Kudos to all the men and women who keep us safe!

New safety video, Hello 2024!! I will miss the old one, though. The overworked staff does the best they can with what they have. I've been here for work over a dozen times, and they've always been pretty busy. Be sure to watch the video, then read the book you brought.. you did bring a book, right? Staff will be as friendly to you, as you are to them. And they don't expect tips. As far as the gate, keeping the base running with deliveries and contractors outweighs your paid tourist pass. The other lanes are for special circumstances, not for busier times. This is a one lane gate, just like every other on the base. A big thank you to all PSNS staff for everything they do.

Always super slow trying to get through the inspection gate. They hardly ever have more than 1 (out of 3) gates open. We have a Gate pass but still have to wait for trucks who don't have a gate pass to get inspected. They need to have one gate dedicated to Gate pass holders. We have to pay for the gate pass (expensive) so we should be able to get through faster.

ID staff is very slow. Take multiple breaks and chat. 70 people at 1000. Helped 3 people in 45 minutes. Just lazy people working here.
