Nissan Service Center

Typically service here is great but I had a pretty unfortunate situation develop last time i was here to service my Nissan Frontier. I scheduled a service appointment via the website and was quoted an amount for the service which I felt was acceptable. When I arrived the service center stated there was a discrepancy between the website and their system and my service would actually be more than double the estimate. At that point I had already committed my time to be there and felt like I should just get the work done. However upon reflection I felt like this could have been handled a bit differently by Younker, however even after talking with the service manager they refused to make an adjustment to my final invoice. Great service, friendly people! They've been taking care of my 2018 Rogue since purchased from them. Always a fantastic experience.

Although the people on a personal level are lovely, I don’t love this dealership. I don’t feel they have the transparency that we need when either buying a car or getting service done. I feel like there is a lot of bait and switch when trying to buy a car… with service, things I think should be covered are usually not and things that I don’t expect to be covered are. To some degree, that’s my fault for not memorizing my paperwork. But a phone call before getting the work done would be appreciated!

I'm happy with my new rear brake pads and turned (machined) rotors. The day before the brake job, I was in for one of my "no cost" oil changes (I purchased the unlimited oil changes when I purchased the Rogue). Mike informed me that the brake pads were low, down to 2 mm remaining. Yikes! They do indeed do a multi-check on your vehicle during oil changes. Several months ago at a popular tire center, I was having my tires rotated and they told me the pads are getting low and quoted me a price for the rear brake job, $879. Without inspecting the rotors, they said they would include new rotors and calipers. I inquired about machining the rotors instead and keeping the calipers. Nope, they wanted to replace it all. Always quickly taken care of. My brake job was done correctly. I went to another place to check price and the job speck and they would have installed the wrong brakes for my Hybrid Rogue.
