Norm Reeves VW Service & Parts Center

I recently brought my 2021 VW Atlas Cross Sport in for service, and I want to thank Josue Zavala and the entire Norm Reeves Volkswagen service team for their great work. From start to finish, Josue was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated clearly about the issue and the repair process. It doesn’t matter so much what was broken — what really matters is how it was fixed. The team diagnosed the problem quickly, explained everything clearly, and made sure my car was running perfectly before returning it. Excellent service, professional expertise, and great customer communication all around. Highly recommend Josue and the Norm Reeves VW service department.

I took my car in for scheduled service since I had a discount coupon. They told me that there was oil leaking from the cam cradle into the spark plug tubes, and quoted over $3,000 to fix the problem. They even showed me a photo of a spark plug allegedly covered in oil. I went to another mechanic for a second look, and there was no such leak. Unfortunately, this dealership is dishonest.

I hate to leave negative reviews and NR has been pretty awesome however this is the 3rd time I’ve made an appt over the phone to find out when I get to NR in person they can’t take me- for 3 different reasons now. It’s unfortunate because once the service is being done- it’s excellent. Josue in particular is awesome! Ricardo however, is not great. He’s booked 2 of my appts now over the phone and then I get there and I find out they can’t take me. I u destined it’s not a huge deal however it’s a big waste of my time. Sorry guys!

My second review and 1 star review - wish there was a ZERO star! Norm Reeves will not honor VW's recalls and like the reviews from others, they simply want to keep the car for two days (what? the s/w takes 60 minutes only) AND they said "we're not taking recall service now because we're busy!" DO YOU THINK I'll ever go back? Then they had the audacity to call me two days ago to say I'm due for service. When I informed them of the above issue and mentioned I couldn't leave my car for two days, I was told that someone will get back to me! Never heard from anyone. Why does VW keep such horrible dealerships and not penalize them? They're only hurting the VW brand.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. They don't honor their own appointments made for service. Twice, I've had appointments (for maintenance and for recalls) and was told they don't have time and I'd have to reschedule. Imagine that -making an appointment a week ahead of time, taking time off work and arriving on time for the appointment and being told "Sorry, we don't have time". Next, when the finally did start working on the recall, they didn't finish and asked me to come back at another date. Lastly, while not honoring their own appointments, or finishing their work, they are rude. They act like they're doing YOU a favor by servicing the car you bought from them and need to service according to the warranty contract. Avoid this dealer and service department like the plague.
