Norm's Point Service

I would feel better about giving a better rating if my service had gone better. I had work done on my SUV that had an aftermarket warranty active on it. I was told multiple times that they would contact the warranty company to have my parts covered that needed replaced and then all I would have to pay was the deductible. That never happened despite being told multiple times that it would, and I was charged regular price at a time I really needed my car back. I have a new mechanic now. The only reason I gave two stars and not one is because the coolant pipe was replaced fine where the previous shop gave me bad vibes about it.

Always great, HONEST service and fair pricing. They've taken care of my vehicles for decades now and I have zero complaints and nothing but praise for the way they conduct their business and treat their customers. They always fit me in within a reasonable time frame, always treat me with respect and provide honest feedback and information about any services I want or may need, they never push any services or make me feel bad or ignorant for my decisions about what services I choose to go with (or not go with), and always have competitive pricing.

They got me in right away when my alternator went out on me so I could still go to Michigan that weekend. Prices were definitely affordable and cheaper than a lot of other places. Staff was super nice and friendly.

I travel for work and on my way to work, my brakes started grinding and screeching even while not pressing on the brake pedal!! My gauge also went off that a tire was going flat. I called my boss to tell her what was happening and she recommended norms bc she had been a customer for years, and they were across the street. I called norms and by this time it's almost 10am and they were so pleasant and understanding!! I was so relieved considering I was almost 2 hours from home. They got my car, dropped me off at work, fixed my brakes, fixed my tire (ran over a nail) rotated my tires and changed my oil for cheaper than a well known chain shop for just changing brakes alone!! Went here for the first time today and I was really impressed with the friendliness of the staff and speed of their service. I had a tire issue and they were able to get me in and out! Very small town family feel here and I really liked that. I will definitely be back when I need other services done, kind of embarrassed I haven't been here sooner!
