Northside State Inspection & Fast Lube

So I had a problem with the directional light on my Toyota 4 Runner and just happened to drive into this service center. They put the whole team on it not only fixed my directional light but fixed another light that I didn’t even know it wasn’t functioning. They’ve been in business almost 50 years and I can’t say enough about how professional they were and how much they helped me. I would record these gentlemen any day of the week.

11.22.2025 I’m giving this place a solid rating based on my own experience and the affordability of their State Inspection service. The convenient location near downtown and HEB for quick vehicle registration is a huge bonus. Give them a try — you won’t regret it!

Service was fast and friendly. Don't let the outside fool you, this is an awesome little place. My inspection took less than 10 minutes, he came to help as soon as I walked in. Just a couple of older guys doing car work. It's right off Frazier/75 close to Wilson and shares the lot with an old gas station. They have a help wanted sign up 1/31/24.

Got emission test on two vehicles. Service was very friendly and fast. Will definitely be back for oil changes. Much better than my experience at other places in the area.
